Harvard University, Petersham, Massachusetts
When the Harvard Crimson decided to go green, they chose Moss Hollow to make it happen. The 10.2 kilowatt photovoltaic (PV) system we installed at their 3,000 acre research forest is the university's first large scale renewable energy project. The electricity generated supports research investigating the effects of global climate change. Shutesbury Elementary School, Shutesbury, Massachusetts
Residents of this small town take their responsibility for the planet seriously. Moss Hollow, LLC was hired to install a PV system and weather station on the Shutesbury Elementary School. Prior to installation of the new systems, we repaired structural damage suffered by the school’s roof. Upon completion of the installation, we returned to conduct a seminar for teaching staff to enable them to teach their students about sustainable energy.
